Important Notice for Android Devices:
Amtelco is aware of issues some of our customers may have recently experienced with the Google notification service intermittently not working for Android devices. Google is changing their notification service which caused intermittent errors forcing vendors to change to the new format. Amtelco applied, and was approved, for an extension by Google to continue to use the current format until September 20, 2024. With this extension, customers should no longer be experiencing issues.
Amtelco is updating the ASM notification service to accommodate these changes and will work with each customer to update the service before the September 20, 2024 deadline. We will be sending updates to inform you of our progress. When the update is ready, our Field Engineers will be reaching out to schedule maintenance on each on-premise server and the Amtelco Cloud servers. We do not anticipate downtime for ASM devices, only a short interruption to the notifications during the update process.
