New Year's Message from Tom Curtin – President, American Tel-A-Systems 

Wow! What a rush and joy 2019 has been with many exciting accomplishments to boast about!

Genesis IS and Genesis Spectrum are now in nearly 100 locations, and this number will very easily more than double in 2020!

In 2019, Amtelco added over 50 new customer sites and had the best year ever in our 44 years. We owe all of you a very sincere and heartfelt, "Thank you," for your partnership in our family. It doesn't get any better than this.

Also, we have been beefing up our super staff in 2019, looking forward to 2020 by adding smart and energetic implementation specialists, project managers, contracted services experts, customer support staff, and software and marketing professionals. We are so stoked to have all these new hires-Amtelco Ducks as we call them-on the team!

Software Release

The following software versions have passed Amtelco quality assurance testing and are ready for general release. 

Network Archiver Version 5.60.08 includes a Ctrl + F12 setting to enable retrieve mode only.

MDR Capture Version 3.05.02 includes the following features:
  • mOpOnOff table. 
  • Added CallDistributionGroupLo field to mCallend, mCallSegment, mOpLogout, and mOpInterval tables.
  • Added CallDistributionGroupHi field to mCallend, mCallSegment, mOpLogout, and mOpInterval tables.
  • Added OpGroup field to mCallend and mCallSegment tables.
  • Network debugging changed from Ctrl + F12 to Ctrl + F11.
  • Setup now uses Ctrl + F12.
  • Various improvements.
 
Report Generator 3.05.02 includes support for the fields added to MDR Capture Version 3.05.02.
 
Unified Reports Version 1.03.00 includes the following features:
  • Expanded fields to accommodate longer values and added Paradox Talk to Talk fields in the MDR – Call Detail Report. 
  • Removed Account and Billing range parameters as they were not used, and expanded fields to fix text in the MDR – Op Scheduling Stats Report.
  • Removed Account and Billing range parameters as they were not used in the MDR – Op Scheduling Stats Graphed Report.
  • MDR uses the IS Reporting version of the Client Maintenance Report to resolve a terminal server report issue.
  • Fixed the Checkin Disc and Non-Live Hold fields being interchanged in the MDR – Account Statistics Billing Summed Report
  • Expanded the Account field to accommodate a 10-digit account number and the Date/Time field to accommodate a full date in the MDR – Call Busied Report.
  • Expanded the Call field and added Job Types and Job Type parameters to the MDR – Data Out Report.

MSM – SMS Escalation Messages 

The SMS Escalation Message feature can be used to send a text message to the phone number of a miSecureMessages contact if that contact is sent a secure message and does not read it within the Escalation Delay specified in the MSM Administration Web.

Spectrum – Scan for Undelivered Messages 

A recent enhancement to the Spectrum system provides a configurable, automatic background scan for any undelivered messages that may need attention.

Employee Spotlight

Andy Quamme – Recipient of the William J. Curtin II Employee of the Year Award

Andy Quamme, Director of Project Management, is the 2019 recipient of Amtelco's William J. Curtin Employee of the Year award. The honor, conferred annually at year's end, is named in remembrance of Amtelco founder William J. Curtin II, and is the most cherished award available to Amtelco employees.

Andy was awarded the William J. Curtin Employee of the Year award for his outstanding commitment to Project Management and successful customer implementations.

Andy was hired by Amtelco in 1997 as an installation technician in the Field Engineering department. In 2003, Andy was reassigned as a customer engineer and project manager. Andy was promoted to director of project management in Amtelco's Customer Care department in 2019.

Other awards announced at Amtelco's annual holiday luncheon in December included:
