Employee Spotlight
Brigitt Capps – Collections Specialist
Amtelco hired Brigitt Capps in May 2022 as the Collections Specialist. Brigitt is the go-to person for customers and employees when a billing issue needs to be resolved. She skillfully and respectfully interacts with Amtelco’s family of customers and Amtelco’s Project Management team, Sales team, Accounting team, and Chief Financial Officer to organize and maintain all collection records.
When not at work, Brigitt enjoys spending time with her family. “I have three amazing kiddos. Julia, Josie, and Jordan. Dean is my better half and partner in crime. I also have a fur princess, Harley. She is a ball and frisbee chasing shepherd and black mouth cur mix,” says Brigitt.
Family is immensely important to Brigitt. She shares this moving story of her incredible experience several years ago. Brigitt explains, “I’m a living kidney donor. I shared my spare. On February 11, 2016, I donated a kidney in a three-way paired kidney donor exchange performed by the University of Wisconsin’s (UW) Transplant team. A paired kidney exchange is when a living donor is incompatible with the recipient and exchanges kidneys with another donor-recipient pair. There were three donors and three recipients – one of the recipients was my dad.”
