Torin Chestnut – Field Engineering Technician

Torin works as a field engineer and has been with Amtelco since August of 2023. He handles troubleshooting of any issues with the Intelligent Series (IS) software, which includes IS Supervisor, Soft Agent, IS Server, Amtelco Secure Messages (ASM), and other applications. The troubleshooting process is very in-depth and typically involves looking over log files, running tests with comparable software, holding meetings with customers to observe practices, and reviewing past tickets to find similar occurrences to use as a reference.

Torin holds an associate degree in Information Technology (IT) – Cybersecurity Specialist from Madison College. He has won an award for “Best Torin in Field Service,” which is proudly on display on Jody’s desk.

Three Random Things to Know About Torin
1. Do you have any pets? I have a Yellow Lab named Sasha. She is 4 years old and is my little baby girl.
2. Do you want to share a story about a fun/adventurous thing you’ve done? When I was in the Army, I went to Airborne School and jumped out of a plane 4 times. I nearly broke my ankles on the 4th jump, so I couldn’t do the 5th.
3. If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go? I would revisit Germany – I loved it there. Stuttgart or Geilenkirchen.
