Employee Spotlight
Rebecca Friedel – Administrative Float
Rebecca Friedel graduated from Madison Area Technical College in 2004 with a degree in Cosmetology. Rebecca continued her education with Aveda and took all of their business classes. Her dedication enabled her to become an educator for the company and took her all of the way to New York Fashion Week.
In October 2019, Rebecca was hired as an Administrative Float for Amtelco. Her tasks range from assisting in the shipping department, posting outgoing mail and answering calls as the receptionist, managing Amtelco’s customer database, and helping the Quality Assurance department test Amtelco’s miSecureMessages secure messaging app.
Rebecca has strong ties to Amtelco. Her father, Mike Friedel, is the Vice President of Sales for Amtelco’s 1Call division. She says, “I have made many wonderful memories at Amtelco with the wonderful people who have worked here throughout the years. I remember visiting my dad at Amtelco when I was little and have gotten to know many Amtelco employees as friends. I truly believe Amtelco has the best employees and am grateful to have the opportunity to work here.”
When not at work, Rebecca enjoys sketching and painting, doing hair and make-up, cooking, and gardening. Her three Beagle/Basset Hound fur babies named Cash, Tango, and Buddy also keep her busy. However, Rebecca’s favorite activity is spending time with her 9-year-old daughter, Vynessa, whom she named after her dear friend Vanessa McMath, who also used to work at Amtelco.
