Amtelco Secure Messages
Amtelco released the miSecureMessages app in 2011. The app was initially developed for hospitals and clinics, but it is also widely used by any business or contact center that needs to protect confidentiality while sending and receiving texts, photos, audio, and video files.
Over the years, the HIPAA and HITECH-compliant app has continued to evolve and offer various useful features such as Short Message Service (SMS) escalation, high availability configuration, phone number masking, and Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication. Design elements have been updated to better reflect Human Interface Guidelines (HIG), and modifications have increased user accessibility and customization. There is even a partner program for the app, comprised of leading technology companies and more than 60 reseller partners.
In 2019, miSecureMessages underwent a logo redesign, and a dedicated website was created for it. Improvements are once again being made to the app, following the Amtelco rebrand at the beginning of 2024. The next stage of Amtelco’s brand refresh is underway, with miSecureMessages being rebranded as Amtelco Secure Messages. The app has a new look with the Amtelco branding, and the app’s website is now part of the main Amtelco website. Please click here to read our latest press release about Amtelco Secure Messages.
