TUNe Recap

Another great TUNe (Telecommunications Users Network, Inc.) conference has come and gone. We look forward to this conference every year and we greatly appreciate the strong group that makes the conference so successful year after year. It’s a wonderful opportunity to interact with our user group and share new developments with everyone. This year we got to show our newest innovations involving Active Insights and Ellie™.

We are continuing to support the Spectrum system by working on new features, as well as making sure that changes to other platforms, like Windows, won’t break existing features. Our commitment has always been to keep your business in business, and we keep that at the core of everything that we do.

We’d like to extend a special thank you to the TUNe Board and to Maryellen for all the hard work that goes into the preparation and execution of such a successful conference. We’re looking forward to seeing all of you next year.

Active Insights – Client Configurations

The Client Settings page in Active Insights is used to create Client Configurations. Client Configurations are customizable, versatile, and flexible settings applied to specific clients.

SSL Certificate Information and Requirements

Amtelco strongly recommends, and in some instances, requires SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificates for web based, Genesis/Genesis Proxy, and SQL server types, regardless of public or private access.

Employee Spotlight

Katie Charles – Marketing Specialist

Katie has been working for Amtelco since September 2024 as a Marketing Design and Content Specialist. She creates graphics, social media posts, and blog articles. Most recently, she wrote a blog article on the importance of integrating Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and Amtelco’s software solutions. Katie attended Madison College and UW-Whitewater. She likes working on trade show graphics and enjoys the challenge. “It is a special opportunity to design for large projects such as booths. I enjoy the process and critical thinking that goes into graphics that are not on paper or a digital device.”

Three Random Things to Know About Katie
1: What superpower would you choose if you had the chance to pick one. Why? Instant teleportation. As fun as it would be to fly or be super strong, it would be even better to skip driving to the grocery store. It would make traveling faster and cheaper!
2: Favorite sport and sports team? Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, and the Madison Radicals are my favorite sports teams.
3: If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go? Scotland and Norway! I prefer cold weather – I am from Wisconsin and my husband is from Maine, so I think we would really enjoy those countries the most.
